How the capability works
Know which surfaces have evidence
The evidence model covers OpenAI / ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and other supported AI/search engines, including Copilot and Google AI. This is not a promise of live access to every surface: collection depends on configured providers, permissions and reliable returned data. Scheduled collection currently supports configured Gemini and Perplexity paths.
Read each observation in context
Where reliable provider data exists, inspect brand mentions, citations, sources and cited pages alongside topics, queries/prompts and competitor presence. Compare visibility changes only across compatible observations. AI referrals require reliable connected analytics evidence; an answer citation is not proof of a visit, and this page does not claim automatic referral attribution.
- Keep the query, provider, market, language, capture time and source references with each observation.
- Separate provider-observed and official evidence from synthetic tests, estimates, inferred signals and model-derived interpretations. Missing coverage is not a zero result.
Improve the signals you can review
Use supported citation-gap analysis and source snapshots to investigate missing content or authority signals. Review recommended changes to clear answers, factual content and entity information before any supported execution. A recommendation explains an opportunity; it does not control what an AI engine will recommend.
