Search Telemetry & Performance
Find pages worth improving with search and crawl evidence.
Combine authorized Google Search Console telemetry with configured technical crawls. Use observed impressions, query-page relationships and technical evidence to decide which pages deserve attention.
Interactive Capability Preview
Illustrative workflow with sample telemetry. Real captures appear on the homepage.
This is not a customer observation or crawl result. Metrics require a source, site and compatible reporting window; missing data is not zero.
| Example URL | Impressions | CTR | Average position | Possible investigation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| /product | Source evidence required | Source evidence required | Source evidence required | Review intent, title and links |
| /features/seo-intelligence | Source evidence required | Source evidence required | Source evidence required | Review intent, title and links |
Low CTR may justify reviewing the title and intent. Compare query, page, device, country and dates before recommending a change.
How the capability works
1. Ranking Intelligence & Striking Distance Opportunities
A useful content-growth workflow often starts with pages that already have measurable demand. Groviqo can identify query/page opportunities from connected evidence and recommend content or internal-link changes without promising a page-one outcome.
- Compare current positions, movement, winners, losers and historical changes across search engine, market, device and geographic differences. Include competitor position and page/query relationships when the connected source provides those dimensions; missing coverage is not a zero result.
- Correlate content modifications, technical modifications, crawler findings, AI actions and competitor changes with ranking observations. Keep source and time windows visible; correlation does not establish which change caused a ranking movement.
- Filter queries with high impressions and low CTR to investigate ranking and intent opportunities
- Actionable recommendations: targeted subheading additions, structured FAQs, and schema updates
- Internal link equity suggestions from your highest-authority pages to striking-distance targets
- Continuous tracking of observed position and click changes after an update
2. Investigate competing pages before choosing a repair
Multiple pages appearing for a query are evidence for investigation, not proof of harmful cannibalization. Groviqo can record an evidence-backed repair plan and request independent approval. Repair execution is unavailable in the current runtime: a plan or approval does not merge pages, set redirects, change canonicals or delete content.
- Detect query overlap: use scoped, synchronized Search Console query/page observations from the last 30 days. Missing or truncated coverage stays visible.
- Analyze page intent: saved titles and topic labels provide a lexical overlap heuristic. Review the pages; the signal does not establish identical intent or search-engine confusion.
- Compare performance: review observed impressions and GSC average positions in compatible windows. SERP overlap requires a captured sample with matching query, language, market, device and provider.
- Determine a primary target: the current candidate is ranked by impressions, then average position. Review intent and business purpose before accepting that candidate.
- Recommend a merge, repositioning, internal-link or canonical strategy: keep the rationale, before/after plan and evidence visible; no action can be the right decision. Internal-link signals cover saved content documents only.
- Execute safely: this is a gated future step for cannibalization repair. Current plans have execution unavailable; future execution needs a supported CMS or routing provider, policy, permissions, independent approval, verification and supported recovery.
- Measure: compare later connected observations against the baseline in a suitable window. An approved plan is not a completed repair; correlation does not prove causation or guarantee ranking gains.
3. Full Search Console & Site Structure Integration
Search Console shows observed search changes. By correlating query data with crawl evidence, Groviqo can surface technical changes that may be relevant to investigation without presenting correlation as proven causality.
- Query-to-page mapping evaluating title tag and H1 relevance against real user queries
- Crawl budget efficiency: identify indexed pages that generate zero impressions over 90 days
- Lost query alerts when a previously high-ranking keyword loses impressions suddenly
Practical tooling for end-to-end execution
Search Console Intelligence Hub
Direct API sync displaying query impressions, clicks, position velocity, and CTR trends without spreadsheet exports.
Striking-Distance Keyword Finder
Surfaces search terms observed between #8 and #20 so targeted optimizations can be evaluated against measured outcomes.
Cannibalization Investigation & Repair Plans
Surfaces scoped query/page overlap for review and records proposed repair plans with risk and evidence. Repair execution is unavailable in the current runtime.
Traditional approach vs Groviqo
| Dimension / Capability | Manual Search Console Digging | Groviqo Automated SEO Intelligence |
|---|---|---|
| Opportunity Identification | Exporting 1,000s of rows to Excel and applying manual VLOOKUP formulas | Observed striking-distance queries and query/page overlap candidates, subject to connected-source coverage and review |
| Architectural Context | GSC shows ranking drop, but cannot tell you that an internal link was removed | Correlates crawl-graph changes with query fluctuations to support root-cause investigation |
Frequently asked implementation questions
How does Groviqo access Search Console data safely?
Google Search Console is connected through the configured OAuth application using the scopes required by the integration. Credentials stay behind the SecretStore boundary; the marketing site should not claim broader permissions than the runtime actually requests.
How does Groviqo detect keyword cannibalization?
Connected Search Console observations group distinct pages for a normalized query within a scoped 30-day window. Impressions and average position support comparison; saved title/topic overlap and incoming links add investigation context. Neither overlap nor a primary-candidate heuristic proves harmful competition. The current workflow records repair plans and approvals, not live merges, redirects or canonical changes.
